How to change Folder’s Appearance, Design or icon?

We keep different  types of files in different folders. But  all the folders looking same.

We can change the appearance and icon of different folders so that we can recognize

the folders easily. But how? Let us discuss the process.

1. Click the right mouse button of the folder to bring up the context menu.

2. Click on “Properties” to bring up the “Properties” of the Folder.

3. Click on the “Customize” tab.

4. For Thumbnails view click on “Choose Picture…” tab and browse a picture.

5. Click on “Change icon” and click the icon which you want to select.

6. Click on OK, Apply and OK tabs respectively.
